This website is dedicated to helping you be in
the present moment and awaken to your true Self, or Essence. Through books,
consultations, and free e-books, excerpts, chapters, recordings, and
newsletters, it provides tools for moving out of ego-identification, which is
the cause of all human suffering, and into the Now, or present moment, where true
happiness lies and where your true Self can be experienced and expressed. Gina Lake's
books and consultations will help you understand your ego’s conditioning,
fears, blocks, and negative beliefs and how to move beyond them to living a
freer and more fulfilled life, one more true to your Self and to your life
purpose. Real happiness—radical happiness—lies in dis-identifying with the ego
and negative mind and aligning with your true Self and its intentions for this
life.
"You are not what you think
you are. When you stop giving attention to
your thoughts, the
stories, feelings, and activity driven by them stop. Then you
can
discover who you really are and what is arising out of the
flow—what is true to do
now,
in this moment. Pay attention to now, and
the rest will take care of itself.”
“The
Self, or Essence, is not something you have to go searching for. You
have
always been alive as THIS, but it is very quiet and overlooked much of
the time because the mind is so noisy. Because we are focused on
thoughts, we often miss the experience of this moment, which is where our true Self is experienced."
"Happiness
isn't something to attain or achieve but something to notice. If you
are trying to achieve it, then you are overlooking it. Wanting
happiness and freedom from the suffering of the ego is a worthy desire.
The problem is that wanting it implies that you don't already have it.
You believe you aren't free when you already are. This is very
difficult for the ego to grasp. It doesn't notice the happiness that is
already present in this moment because this happiness doesn't look like
the ego imagines it to look."

"If
you love what Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, or Advaita point to, or you
are just tired of suffering, you will love this work." -Lisa Lee, facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie
"You
are at the
top of my 'authors I love' list. You speak to the reader (me) like a
friend, in terms that are understood at the levels of both my mind and
my heart. Your books speak in a language that resonates throughout my
being. You help me deal with my life, rather than urging me to shelve
my problems because they don't exist. I get that my problems, my image
of 'me' and 'my life' are constructs of my mind, but you actually
explain what to do with that concept, where many authors just leave you
hanging. If spirituality had a door through which we could enter and
gain immediate understanding, you are that door. My thanks to you and
those you channel for helping me through that door!" -Kathy Roberts
“Radical
appreciation of your eloquence. Gina, you are such an elegant author.
Bravo. Your piece is beautifully true and so gracefully languaged. I
love your expression of the truth. It is deep and insightful and rich
with feminine elegance!!! –Chris McCombs
"Gina
Lake's book
Radical Happiness is an extremely well written guidebook on the practical application of
non-dualism to one's life so that one's experience becomes more and
more enjoyable and adventurous and in harmony with the Divine. The
author clearly writes from the perspective of an enlightened being;
indeed, she is a master teacher and guide." –Jeff Bronson
"Gina
Lake speaks
plainly, directly, and soundly about whatever she talks about. She
makes practical nonduality look easy. Everyone 'should' have in their
library at least one book by Gina Lake. Find a title that interests you
and order it." –Jerry
Katz, author of One:
